Welcome to Nearlings. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nearlings app and website. By using Nearlings, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Nearlings

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nearlings. Some content, including the Spicy deck, is intended for consenting adults. You are responsible for keeping your account and pairing code secure.

Your account & your partner

Nearlings links two accounts one-to-one using a pairing code. Content you create — answers, reactions, and history — is shared with your linked partner. Only share your code with the person you intend to pair with. You can unlink at any time in Settings.

Acceptable use

• Use Nearlings only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Don't harass, abuse, or harm your partner or any other person.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service.

Subscriptions & free trial

• Nearlings offers a Monthly ($10.99/month) and Yearly ($50.99/year) subscription, each with a 3-day free trial.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase or when the free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings. You won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

Content

You own the content you create in Nearlings. You grant us a limited license to store and transmit it solely to operate the app and deliver it to your linked partner. Card prompts and artwork are owned by Nearlings and may not be reproduced without permission.

Disclaimers

Nearlings is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is a game meant for fun and connection, and is not a substitute for professional relationship or mental-health advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nearlings and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
